Tareq is a Greek-Jordanian recording artist and DJ based in London, UK. He’s been active on the electronic music scene since 2005. Tareq premiered as the frontman for nu-electro band TechSoir before releasing his solo debut album Cocoon in 2010. It was voted Best Electronic Album of the Year in his native Greece and included hit singles “Cold,” “Feel Me” and “Mosquito.”
Tareq’s second album Fish (2013) embodied a new approach to pop music and included collaborations with a range of Greek indie artists such as Natassa Bofiliou and RSN. Continuing his evolution, Tareq’s latest EP titled Indigo (2017) was produced by French artist Lacquer. Tareq is also known for his exceptional remixes, working with international artists such as Jessica 6, Erasure, Fischerspooner, Gala Mighty Mouse, and many more.
